Can People Involved With Abortions Get Saved?

& Other Questions Regarding the Sin of Abortion

What prevents an abortion provider or worker from eternal salvation?

The biggest barrier that keeps people from eternal salvation is pride. In James 4:6, the Bible says God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. Although Jesus said “…He that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst” in John 6:35, and the Bible says in Psalm 51:17 that, “a broken and contrite heart God will not despise,” the sad truth is, the sin of pride will keep many people from humbling themselves, acknowledging their sins, and coming to Jesus Christ for the forgiveness and salvation He has made possible through His death and resurrection. There is no denying that according to God’s standard of righteousness found in the Ten Commandments and throughout the Bible that ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God. There is also no denying that God, although He is love, is also just. He hates sin with a perfect hatred and will by no means clear the guilty, according to Exodus 34:7. This means that every person, no matter how big or small their sin, is under the just wrath of God at this very moment. God’s wrath will be poured out in the coming Day of the Lord’s Judgment on every single person who has not repented and called on the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, who shed His blood and died on the cross of Calvary, rising again three days later, so that sinners who humble themselves before Him and seek His mercy can be saved.

Is there any sin or sinner that God will not forgive?

There are some who have said that some sins, like the murder of the innocent, are just too horrible for God to forgive and that there is no hope for someone who has taken part in such a crime. Let it be known, though, that according to the Bible, as wicked a sin as that is, and as much as God thoroughly detests the hands that shed innocent blood through abortion or any other way according to Proverbs 6:16-17, there is still forgiveness and pardon offered in God’s Word for that offense, too, through the mercy of Jesus Christ. Mercy is defined as “Not getting what you do deserve.” Indeed, anyone who takes part in the horribly violent crime of slaughtering innocent, unborn children does not deserve any mercy, either from God or the law of man. Murder should be a Capitol Offense and in many cases it is in this country. Nevertheless, the truth is that as God hates the shedding of innocent blood, He also does not take pleasure in the death of the wicked, according to Ezekiel 18. That’s why He has warned mankind in His Word that He has appointed a day in which He will judge the world, and that He has commanded all men everywhere to repent toward Him, and put their faith in Jesus Christ. The Bible says in Acts 17:30: “And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:”

How much patience will God show towards those who continue to be involved with the murder of unborn children?

The Lord has been very patient with sinful men and women, because He is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9 says: “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” Jesus died in the place of a murderer named Barabbas, saving him from physical execution when Pilate was willing to release Jesus. In the same way Jesus has also taken the punishment of those involved in abortions, the murder of the unborn, to save them from the spiritual death and torment their sins justly deserve, if they will just repent and believe on Him. In I Timothy 1:15, the Bible says Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, and no limit or degree of sinner is put on that. If you are involved in abortion, your hands are red with the innocent blood of unborn children. If you approve of abortion, you support the murder of innocent, unborn children, and that’s not much better. The Bible says in Isaiah 5:20, “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil…”

What happens if an abortion provider or worker dies before trusting in Christ?

Nobody is guaranteed a tomorrow. In James 4:14 the Bible warns that our lives are as a vapour. If you die in your sins, you will have to answer to God for your sins and be sent to an eternal Lake of Fire, called Hell, to pay for them. Please do not delay, but immediately call upon the Lord Jesus Christ to cleanse and save you. This is God’s invitation to all sinners, found in Isaiah 1:18, and 55:6-7: “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.”

How Long Will Abortion be Legal in America?

God knows all the thoughts and actions of man

Who will judge those who murder unborn children? Who will judge those who assist those who take the lives of unborn children? Psalm 94 clearly states that GOD is the judge of the earth. Even David, the Bible writer of Psalm 23, was discouraged about the wickedness that prevailed in his time. As David asked, we ask as well, “How long will the wicked triumph?”
God sees and hears all the wicked acts that take place in our nation. Psalm 94:9 states, “He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?”

God is our defence

David finishes Psalm 94 with the declaration, “The Lord is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge.” We can trust God as our defence and as the rock of our refuge. The final verse of Psalm 94 says, “And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea, the LORD our God shall cut them off.”

Psalms 94:1 O LORD God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself.
2 Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud.
3 LORD, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?
4 How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?
5
They break in pieces thy people, O LORD, and afflict thine heritage.
6 They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.

7 Yet they say, The LORD shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it.
8 Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye be wise?
9
He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?
10 He that chastiseth the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teacheth man knowledge, shall not he know?
11 The LORD knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.
12 Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O LORD, and teachest him out of thy law;
13 That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked.
14 For the LORD will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.
15 But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it.
16 Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?
17 Unless the LORD had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.
18 When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O LORD, held me up.
19 In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul.
20 Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law?
21 They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.
22 But the LORD is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge.
23
And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea, the LORD our God shall cut them off.
