Visitation & Door Knocking

Matthew 28:19 says, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:” As Christians, we are commanded to share Jesus Christ’s love and gift of salvation with our friends and neighbors. Because of this, and our own personal desire to share the gospel, a group of people from our church goes to various neighborhoods and knocks on doors in hope of finding someone at home to talk to. We tell them what church we are from and ask, “If you were to die tonight, do you know where you would spend eternity?” Many people say that they don't know, that they are going to heaven by being a good person, or that they are not concerned with that issue at the present moment. Each of these answers gives us a reason to be out door-knocking. People are in definite need of a Savior, and we can share Him with them. As we visit different homes, it is our greatest desire to fulfill Christ’s command to tell the world about Him!
